Duplication of Backflush Labor step

We have just discovered this "feature" in 6.00.511. In a nutshell, when you
book a qty thru Labour Entry, ALL backflushed materials are issued (rather
than pro-rata) EVERY time. Book 3 times against the job and use 3x the
materials!! Nice feature which completely screws your inventory.
Apparently it's a known "issue" but as yet no date for resolution.

There must be more 6.0 users out there who will have the problem. Maybe you
have but just don't know it yet!!!!

Subject: [Vantage] Duplication of Backflush Labor step

We have a job where the backflush labour was duplicated and as
result the related materials that were set to backflush were issued
from inventory twice.

The job set set up as follows:

Opn 10 - Labour Entry is Backflush - Qty Required 12 - Qty Completed
24

Opn 20 - Labour Entry is Backflush- Qty Required 69 - Qty Completed
138

Opn 30 - Labour Entry is Quantity- Qty Required 12 - Qty Completed 12

All materials are set to backflush

It seems that once the labour entry for opn 30 was entered, the
backflush labour entries for opn 10 & 20 were duplicated. The job
was then closed.

I have checked Production Detail, Labour Edit report and operation
transactions in job tracker to confirm that opn 30 was only entered
once.

Anyone seen this before or have any ideas how this may have happened.
