E10: Custom grid - how to format sales order number

Actually, I got the last part wrong.
We are populating data into UD38 and then displaying this data. The order number field is stored in Number01, which is of type decimal, which is likely the problem.
Any ideas?

Subject: [Vantage] E10: Custom grid - how to format sales order number

Hi All,

In E9, we have a custom grid that we added to a screen that displays the sales order number in one of the fields.
I added code to the grid so that we can get the order number context menu when we right click it.
All works great in E9.

In E10, it still works but just before the called screen opens, say Order Tracker, we get this error:
Error accessing the database: Conversion failed when converting the varchar value '3169360.000000000' to data type int.

If I click ok on the error, the called screen opens and has the correct order loaded.

I’m not sure what I need to do to the grid so that the order number in this field does not have the trailing zeros.
Any ideas?

The grid is populated from data retrieved from a BAQ using the DynamicQuery BO.
