E10 MES Backflushing not working?

I can also confirm backflushing materials and backflushing labor both work for us on 10.0.700.4.


Make sure you have a related operation listed in the BOM, unless you want to backflush materials during job closing.

Having difficulty getting the backflushing to work when reporting in MES. I tried in both the Epicor Application and the standalone MES and it did not backflush material.


I found in Resource Group Setup that there is a spot where you can enter a “Backflush Warehouse” and then a default bin. I set up the backflush warehouse to be mfgsys and then just picked the default warehouse bin. I then re-reported another 25,000 for that job and checked again, and still no backflushing activity. 


anyone have this same issue and know how to resolve the issue?

Did you set your parts to backflush on the part/site tab?

Works fine for us in 10.0.700.4 as well. As long as you set the parts to backflush you should be fine

Works fine for us in 10.0.700.4 as well. As long as you set the parts to backflush you should be fine

Having difficulty getting the backflushing to work when reporting in MES. I tried in both the Epicor Application and the standalone MES and it did not backflush material.



I found in Resource Group Setup that there is a spot where you can enter a “Backflush Warehouse” and then a default bin. I set up the backflush warehouse to be mfgsys and then just picked the default warehouse bin. I then re-reported another 25,000 for that job and checked again, and still no backflushing activity.



anyone have this same issue and know how to resolve the issue?
