E9 BPM: How to prevent a form to open

I have no coding experience with EPICOR.

 

But is that something i can do with the wizards?

 

Essentially, If Plant = DEM, then Close MassReceiptEntry.form else .....

I tried this using a BPM and raised exception on pre processing, but the form still opened. Deleted the BPM and created a customization and handled the form's load event and closed the form is a condition was met.

Perhaps, I misunderstood. 

 

Is there another place in which you can do Mass Receipts?  I only know of the Receipt Entry Form > Actions Menu > Mass Receipts.

 

When I run the trace. Receipts.CreateMassReceipts is called and that is where I can place the BPM, but afterwords Epicor.Mfg.BO.GenXData;

whereClause

System.String

Key2 = 'App.ReceiptEntry.MassReceiptsForm'

is called and opens the form.  I would like to restrict a certain plant from opening 'App.ReceiptEntry.MassReceiptsForm'

I guess you didn't understand Jose's message

Check Menu Maintenance in System Management, you can decide who can/cannot see the form in menu

You may also want to set User Groups to make things easy, e.g. Sales, Resource Management Group
And make the form visible only to users in Resource Management Group
