I would suggest using the super admin user and testing if the sign in works. If it does the permissions of your user could be the reason for the ECM Client not correctly linking. If the super admin (admin@docstar.com) works, I would suggest create a ticket with Epiccare and ask why your user cannot sign into the ECM client.
Automation service shows Log On As Local System.
I did check the Client version and it’s correct. I uninstalled and reinstalled and results are the same… I guess it’s time to pop over to Epicare and open that ticket!
Thanks to everyone for the input and suggestions!
A ticket is a great idea, but be prepared to answer all of the same questions as the forum as asked lol
You could try signing into the service as an account instead of Local System. IT may be a network issue, but your IT team seems to have ruled that out…
Let us know what you find out! I’m certainly out of ideas.
Well..I didn’t open a ticket with Epicare. I thought I’d try the uninstall reinstall one more time. Still didn’t work… BUT - when I tried to login to the client I went to the configure service tab instead of just the 'login" tab… and once again I got the red X of failure. The difference was that this time when I hovered my mouse over the annoying X, I was gifted with a REASON that immediately - made sense to me… “Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel”
BINGO! Certificate issue! I was able to import the cert to my laptop and now it’s all working just fine!
