I'm not sure but I believe such data would be vital if you are using the
Document Management module.
One thing I would do is look at the link table relationships, that would
give me a clue into what other transactions are related to those fields.

Subject: [Vantage] ECORev table (V8)
Hello,
I was poking around the tables in Vantage using MS Access when I notice
that there is data in the ECORev, ECOMtl, and ECOOpr tables for items
that were brought into the Engineering Workbench some time ago. These
Revs have been approved and checked back in but the data remains.
Anyone know how these tables work? Why does the data stay?
Thanks,
