Wonder if anyone encounter the EDA sync not able to run using CLI that is what the task scheduler is using.
Using the APP GUI to sync has no issue.
The user account already member of both local and domain administrator.
Even login as administrator account also not any to run the CLI and kept prompting “User is not an administrator”. UAC has even been set to lowest also does not solve the issue.
Raise ticket to support desk and they are also not able to resolve.
Thus, now have to manually sync every day.
Just downloaded the latest Phocas Sync utility. Version is v8.1.25.8/24.4.4.0 depending on where you look. The new programs are named “PhocasSync.exe” and “PhocasSyncCLI.exe”. Double check you have the latest sync tool and are using the correct name.
Many thanks for your advice. At least the error message now show something more meaningful. Though the url is accessable as shown, at least there is some direction to my troubleshooting.
Your screenshot of the CLI connectivity test error - why that host? Doesn’t seem correct. Open E10.sync in the PhocasSync.exe UI app. See what the connection details look like and make sure they are correct.
As understand, the service connection since Day 1 is already set as http://localhost/EDA by Epicor team and CLI has never work. However the UI app is able to sync without any error.
Epicor support has also given all the setting to Phocas support but there is nothing they can do as they claim it’s credential issue though the account is member of local and domain admin. Even using using the administrator to login also show “User is not an administrator”
We have exhausted all avenues and has to manually Sync the EDA till today.
