Has anyone seen it vanish before? If so what did you do to get it back?
I have - you can redeploy it from the EAC. Or, in the API you can just set the URL again.

There is a GetDataDiscoveryUrl too. Does that return the EDD endpoint?
Using the GetDataDiscoveryUrl it pulls the correct endpoint.
I can browse to the endpoint in the browser no problem. I can access Data Discovery from the tree view in the client no problem. However the icon has vanished and i cannot access from the tree view in the browser either.
I have had support look at it and they are baffled as well.
Are you on Prem? If so, did you forget to enable EDD during install? If you’re SaaS make a ticket they may have forgotten.

Support have suggested creating a new EDD DB and pointing the extension to that.
