Hello, most of the users here just do print preview on a report then print through the browser, however some users especially the ones printing via MES and Receipt entry for bartender labels have to use the printer button, these users have EDGE AGENT installed to allow them to print from epicor, we are on the cloud, recently its been constantly coming up saying we need to re download edge agent as its not connected even though it was working the day before also we have noticed if we change from chrome to firefox it does not ask us to download the agent, is this still required in the move to 2026 ?
Since it sounds like it works in Firefox but not in Chrome, I’d take a look at Chromes browser settings.
Chrome has a site information setting ‘Allow Apps on Device’ that we had to toggle on against our Epicor site. There is a much more in depth post on here that I can try to dig up and link.
If the site settings dont work, a browser cookie/data refresh has also done wonders when I’ve seen things suddenly get wonky.
