Edge Agent versioning? - How often are updates pushed out? Schedule?

We started with Edge Agent 1.2.416.0 in November, updated to a newer Kinetic version in Mach for testing, requiring Edge Agent 1.2.473.0.

Last week configured Kinetic 2024.1 for testing, which required Edge Agent 1.2.535.0. This morning users can’t open certain screens unless they update to 1.2.540.0

Questions:

  1. Are these rollouts controllable at all? They are fairly disruptive to our environment.

  2. Is there a release schedule, or will users just be prompted at random times?

I have no answers, but have you voted for the various ideas to make the edge agent less terrible? Or maybe added some new ones?

Thanks. I upvoted all and will get more engaged on the ideas… sometimes it feels like I’m constantly a beta tester with Epicor. It is exhausting.
