Have any members implemented importing 850's, and if so how do you
deal with Vantage not taking into consideration if there was a quote
for the incoming PO (quote # and Line #) and updating the other
Mod's? What i'm getting at is if you are trying to capture metrics
on quotes i.e. if they are "won" Vantage with their unchanged EDI
from the late '90's does not take into consideration how this PO
effects their other Modules i.e. quoting. I tried implementing using
this import in late '99 and early '00 with the same problems and
seems EDI import logic has NOT changed since version 4.0!
Also, I would like to know from those that import 850's what sort of
problems they have or had implementing....and how much "Custom
Programming" was required. I know that the issue I listed above was
one of several problems I encountered testing. p.s. is Patrick
still the edi guru at Epicor or whom shall I contact?
