Is it possible to set effectivity date for one of the components of an
assembly? It appears that the effectivity date is associated with only
at top level.
As an example, assembly XYZ is made up of 5 components (a, b, c, d,
e). There is an Engineering change for replacing component "c" with a
new one, component "f". This change is to take place on a certain date
in the future. Is it possible to set the effectivity date for just the
component "c" in this assembly "xyz"? Or we are forced to set the
effectivitty date for assembly "xyz" itself?
Any comments from users running into similar cases is appreciated.
