eMan....5.00

Isn't that just aggravating. You tell them "...it worked fine until
I installed the new version of your software..." and they try to pawn
it off on the OS mfg. Typical support from a technician who doesn't
care. By simple logical process of elimination it is most definitely
the new software causing the problem.

Hi all, I just found something strange happening and wondered if anyone else
has seen this.

After installing the 5.0 clients on Windows 95 and 98 computers, we are no
longer able to open office documents by clicking on the files. The only way
to open the file is to start Word or Excel first, then using the file open
menu. NT4 and 2000 work the way they should. Also if you go to the documents
menu on the start menu the files do not open.

This is only happening if Vantage 4 or 5 is open. As soon as you close
Vantage the files open.
