I am setting up a new supervisor role for Time and Expense Approvals and can create a new Role Code but the Time and Expense Options section is uneditable (defaults to unselected). I’m a security manager and wondering how to gain access to these options.
I think you need the payroll module for these to work.
We don’t have it, and those fields are grayed out on our implementation too. Employee Maintenance Role Code tab fields are also grayed out.
Thanks TerryR. I found what I needed to enable Time & Expense Options in RoleCode. It’s in Site config…Time and Expense section. There’s an Approval checkbox (and corresponding Logic for Indirect Approval and Production Approval) that had yet to be defined. Once I set those, I was able to check off the T&E Options in RoleCode!
Good to know. But those are grayed out for me. Do you have the Payroll Module?
No payroll module but we do have Time and Expense licensed.
