Entry date of materials in job entry - Audit Files

I got it!! This report works great! There is a change log table (chglog) that holds all the data provided you have it turned on. When a record is created, it lists it as "Username - time - New Record."

In CorVu, I did a join between a query for this table and one for the jobmtl table. Linked the common fields, find those with "Record" in them, and away we go.

It calculates the release leadtime in calendar days (required date minus release date) and the comparison of this versus the leadtime in part master (most of which are set to zero).

This is awesome. Thanks to those who helped rattle the cobwebs.

In case this has not been answered....
A few change log tables are:
Quote = quoteadt
Job = Jobaudit
Part = partaudit

Have not found the Labor audit table or
the Sales Order Audit table

Hope this helps... also... there is a CorVu user list (just beginning)
Which you can sign on through Yahoo.

Thanks for the data, but this is not quite what I am looking for.

I'm trying to write a report in CorVu that will compare the record creation date for a material to the due date of the material. We have done this for purchasing (order date vs. due date) and it works well. We're trying to identify our bottlenecks and work on these problem areas.

If you go to job entry, select job, view change log, there is a list of Vantage generated changes to each line item in the bom (provided you have this feature turned on). If you sort it by assembly, the first record for each material line item gives the user, the time and the text 'New Record'. It is this date I am trying to capture. That way I can compare this date to the due date to come up with the amount of time given by engineering to get the part here.

Any suggestions?
