EO Browser What the?

What’s with the enable speech-input???

Is there a way to just turn this off we are only using classic UI at the moment (with Kinetic Home Page). In this instance I was launching from with the modern shell.

Just guessing, but that’s probably the little microphone you can click and give speech input.

I don’t know if there is a place to turn off those options. Check the client .sysconfig file.

You forgot to blur the path on the Epicor Session Manager, we got you now. :slight_smile:

I keep trying to hack tcp://localhost but my computer keeps acting funny.

What was I thinking…

sysconfig

      <ExtraCommandLines value=" --use-simple-cache-backend=on" />
      <LogPath value="C:\Users\shall-admin\AppData\Roaming\epicor\log" />
      <LogEnabled value="false" />
    </EOBrowser>

Nothing sticks out in detail at the moment, and little reference to it in Epicare apart from

https://epiccare.epicor.com/epiccare?id=epiccare_kb_article&sys_id=KB0126091

Based on that I’m assuming you could put in --enable-speech-input=off

Something on the EO site it talks about a remote debugging tool also…

I would like to know if these processes are needed and if there was a way to stop them from running if they are not required…

More research I think…Anyway that’s for another time…Bigger fish to fry at the moment
