EpiBinding issue in Customizations

I appreciate the reply Jose. Specifically I'm trying to bind to LaborDtl.LaborNote on the Start Setup Activity form in MES (Epicor.Mfg.UI.App.StartSetupActivityEntry).

Is there any way to add a field to the data set? A work around if it's not generally available on that form?

Thanks,

Nick Skrede

I've had a lot of success in setting up UD codes and linking them to EpiCombo boxes for us in my customizations (linking the UD codes to VB fields such as JobOper.Character01); but I'm having an issue binding an EpiCombo box to a table and field that aren't automatically listed in the dropdown. When I manually type the table.field (which I know exists) in the EpiBinding location of the customization tools it gives me the following error:

Error Detail
============
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Stack Trace
===========
at Epicor.Mfg.UI.Customization.CustomPropertySetManager.AutoAddEpiComboProperties(EpiTransaction oTrans, EpiComboDesigner ecboDesigner, GridItem changedItem)

Any advice/direction would be appreciated.

Thanks.
Table, Field, and Form would be helpful to know... you can't just type in
fields which aren't availale in the drop down that usually means this field
is not available on the data set.
