We have recently upgraded our end-user PCs to Win11, and we found that there are some issues occurred when using the EPICOR 10.
So far we find that one of the layout (material request queue) failed to show the data in its entirety under the new OS, but we do not find any problem under Win10.
The support team of EPICOR asked us to revert to Win10 instead. I am not able to accept this as this is not in line with our IT group policy to keep all PCs with the latest OS.
Another option is to upgrade EPICOR 10 to 11, but this is not within our plan in near future. We only implemented EPICOR 10 back in 2020.
How is your experience with EPICOR 10 under Win11? What is your solution to that problem?
E10 is EOL…I’d just update it. Like you said, going backwards is bad policy. So is holding steady for too long.
While I’ve tried to speed up our cadence, we usually hold on a version for a couple years. We were fairly early on 10.2.700, rode that to the end of the support window. Now I’m looking at 2023.
Which version is this? Epicor 10 had many releases.
We are on 10.2.600, users are on Win 11 and we aren’t seeing that kind of issue. Are all Win11 experiencing the same thing? Did you try logging into Epicor on the machine as a different user, might be a personalization/customization issue?
