Epicor 9.05.700C - Global Alerts

In the file section get this download. it is the one I started with BAM_Alert_OrderRel_DropShip.zip<http://f1.grp.yahoofs.com/v1/PPg9UfsYhhoG6K_oyDLE4fg-NCPQt6xF2xelGUOMe4x-oLPqJZ69PLurjEsphEDYM--FW-g-tbwhTJAz-urCI3JZ50IKw94LiWOf5HmpEbd6qutO/BAM_Alert_OrderRel_DropShip.zip>. The word doc explains how to setup a bam and where to put on the server.

I have a couple of samples in the BAM folder of the file section. What is the table or alert you are wanting to make, I may have one that I can make a sample out of.

The basics are set the table name at the top and then you can print any data from that table or use it to read other data. There is also an OLDTablename of data available if you want to show a change from this to that.

If you have conditional alerts and don't want to send then set the Sendmail = False and it won't generate the alert.

I'm pretty much an Epicor rookie.

Can you please expand on this with some details or a sample?

No. I just setup BAMs and use .p programs to make a meaningful message.

Is there any way to modify the subject and/or message of a global alert?

They currently show the alert number and are pretty much useless as
deployed.
