Epicor 9 ATP & Printing

I am looking for someone who uses Epicor 9 version 9.04.506A or
9.04.506B. I have some questions

1. of the use of Available to Promise (ATP) (this is a long one
so I will discuss on the phone if possible)

2. Also questions on printing: We are experiencing slowness when
printing to file or printers (30sec-1min) for any form/report. We have a
new server wit specs from Epicor and they have already taken a look on
the environment and found nothing wrong with it. The printing is slow on
a local file even from the server itself so the Network is ourt of the
equation...

Has anyone been experiencing a similar issue?

Can someone please give me the instructions on how to setup a BAQ Report to run automatically. I have a report that I would like to have run (and print if possible) automatically once a week.

Thanks,

Dustin Biniek

Dustin, this actually quite simple.
Â
Open your BAQ Report from the menu as normal. At the bottom of every BAQ Report window you’ll see a drop-down box named “Schedule”
Â
By default it’s always set to “Now”. Select an alternate Schedule instead.
Â
If you have no other Schedules setup, get into System Agent under the Utilities menu and add a new Schedule to the SystemTaskAgent and configure it to your liking. Then, repeat the process above and select your newly created Schedule and and press print or print preview.

Hello,
Sorry if this is a stupid question, we are new Epicor customers currently in implementation.

Will scheduling the BAQ in the System agent keep the data updated in a Crystal report that is linked to this?

Updating standard Crystal forms has been easy enough, but we are unable to refresh BAQ data in a custom crystal report. Thanks, Scott

For the custom crystal report created using the XML as report source, the data gets updated each time you run the BAQ report,
But when you look into the report which is saved into the server location, the report data would from the XML used at the time of creation & this does not update all the time,
You can notice that every time you run the BAQ reports it creates an XML file.
Â
Hope this helps & let me know for any further information.
Â
Thanks,
Doma Reddy.
