Epicor 9 SQL, Anyone using this? Also, Converting data from Prog

I've been both a Progress and a SQL Db user of Vantage, currently SQL.

Never again as far as Progress goes...SQL is far better for talent &
ease of use not to mention hitting the database directly for info you
can't get from the Vantage UI.

Just try to find a Progress DBA....

But then, why Vantage?

We had a customer want to go the other way (SQL to Progress) and Epicor quoted like $1500 / GB...not sure of the exact number, but it was high comparatively speaking. I think Epicor is the only one who has the capabilities to do this - not sure though, but I would check with your CAM.

Why do you want to go to SQL? Just curious.
