Does this demonstrate a lack of Phocas?

I have no clue. EDD was not clean enough IMO so I am not sure if this is something to help with that or what.

Just when I’m getting EDA to be what we need - and all the f’n work that goes with it - they go and do this…

Mark, has it been said that they are shifting from Phocus?

I don’t think EDD competes with Grow or EDA. EDD, for me anyway, is real-time, BAQ driven insights perfectly suitable for Home Screen or Landing Page analytics.

EDA/Phocas, Grow, PowerBI seem more appropriate for analyzing historical data over time.

No mention in the official statement. There is an email address for the Global Head of Communications on this link though.

While I agree that those tools are more suited for historical analysis, they can do tactical analysis using real time data as well and they look and feel great- a lot better than EDD IMO.

You betcha, especially if you develop a drip export or use database replication. If you can embed the analysis in a web page, then this can replace EDD in the Home/Landing pages too.
