Saved Search - Schedule and Send

Currently, most users want to create a saved search and have the results emailed to themselves or other users on a recurring schedule to assist with reporting on month-end activities and the current status of documents. Users will be able to control the search columns by adjusting the saved search settings and specifying who receives the scheduled notification and how often.

ECM Communications from Emails

For example, when a user receives an approval request or document via email, it would be highly beneficial if they could reply directly to the ECM system. The reply—including any notes—would be automatically captured and attached to the corresponding ECM document.

This functionality could be used in various ways, such as allowing non-ECM users to approve documents simply by replying to a workflow notification. Capturing these communications would help bridge communication gaps and provide continuity in situations where users are unable to sign in to ECM.

Epicor Idea 1333

Currently, the Mobile Approval subject is either hardcoded or blank. A customizable subject like the send email task is desired.

Trigger notifications currently are not related to the Request Mobile Approval, for Mobile Approvals, the original request is only way to approve without signing into ECM, but the Trigger notifications can be sent, these are not related to the Mobile Approval request. The desire is to make mobile approvals have repeat notifications by either adding a Trigger feature to the Request Mobile Approval or by adding a checkbox on the Trigger Notification that would send repeat notifications that include the Click here to Approve/Deny.

This idea has been changed from already exists to gauging interest. Mobile approvals are an area where most users would like improvements in the processing/handling.

Based on some conversations with Epicor, you can simply resubmit the idea, and reference the old idea asking it to be merged, which will automatically move the votes as well as refreshing the idea to a “new” idea which is more likely to get new votes.
