From the information I am reading this appears to be a SaaS only product (Epicor Cloud). CAM is offering a XLC/AFR/SPS to FP&A Migration bundle. Would this require migration to Epicor Cloud as well? Can anyone confirm? Is this available for OnPrem also? What would the requirements be to use this SaaS product with an OnPrem setup?
I’m pretty sure you can use FP&A with an on-prem environment. I’m not sure if there is a non-SaaS version of FP&A, but as long as FP&A SaaS has a way to read the data it needs, it shouldn’t take much more (additional) setup than opening a port to the service. I’m sure Epicor will have a setup document for On Prem.
We are doing our implementation right now. Yes, it’s a Saas offering, if you want all the bells and whistles. There technically is an on-prem solution, but it’s quite limited.
We are on-prem, and all it requires is access to your appserver/API. So you’ll need to open your ERP to the internet. There are some options you can explore there. Alos, create a new user, with a specific Access Scope and API Key. They give you the details in the PDFs they provide.

FP&A is a cloud base product; you get a connection “behind scenes” to your DB, it doesn’t matter if you or SaaS or on-prem. What you will be getting is a web login to FP&A (eegg. fpa.yourcompany.com).
