Epicor IDC - Could not connect to the Server

hi
i am trying to start Eipcor IDC Service but this is failing:

The Epicor IDC Server service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.

I believe that this is due to the License Verification. I opened the internet on the server and tried opening the URL: http://licenseverification.ancorasoftware.com/

But this is redirecting to the http://ancorasoftware.com/ only and no more movement.

What should i do?

Go to event viewer to find out the error code that cause the service to stop. If it is licensing issue, you may need to log a ticket with Epicor first.

Is the Windows service for the IDC License service running?

Yes The Licensing service is running fine.

This error message seems to suggest that the wrong license code is being used…

Thank you - We did not change the License key - but the error resolves around it only.I am surprised, why is it since there is no change in License.

I’m not exactly sure, but some licenses will have an expiry dat eso it is possible that yours expired and this is the error code it generates. That is a complete guess, though, as only Ancora would know with certainty.

hi since i am not able to launch IDC portal, could you check at your end, if really there is a License expiry exists !
