IDC monitor mailbox on PDF. However, some of our suppliers send invoices in using links and IDC cannot download PDF from web link. Anyone has a solution to this?
Not a solution, just some thoughts.
I think you’re going to need some web “robotics” solution that can log into those vendor links in an automated manner and download the invoices as PDFs.
I would be surprised if a solution exists within IDC, but maybe someone will surprise us!
Automating the process of extracting and downloading content from web links in emails poses significant security risks. Email links are a common vector for phishing attacks and malware distribution, and blindly downloading content from such links increases exposure to these threats.
Attackers often disguise malicious links to appear trustworthy, and automated systems lack the judgment to differentiate between legitimate and harmful links. A compromised system could inadvertently download and execute malware, leading to data breaches, ransomware infections, or unauthorized access.

I agree. Email attachments share the same risks. I’ve often wondered if we used some outside service running in a container separate from our systems that would take these attachments/links, download them into the container, and then print these PDFs to a new PDF which then could then be scanned for malware. 
Just a thought.
