I just want to get suggestions for the Sales Tax service in Epicor for a small company. I know Avalara is one of the to-go services but want to explore other options if possible.

We’re a small company but ship all over the country. We use Avalera. If your customer base (or more specifically, their ShipTo address) doesn’t change often, then Avalare might be overkill. It really shines when you have to figure out the tax in a jurisdiction you’ve never worked with before.
And some jurisdidctions have different rates based on the item being taxed. Avalera takes care of that too (as long as you create the “type” of good/service it is in E10)

If you have nexus in multiple states, the tax calculation and reporting functions are simple.
