Epicor vs Infor Visual

Geez, I count 13 ERP Products offered by Infor these days
http://www.infor.com/solutions/erp/

Infor has grown via product/company acquisition. Epicor (ERP) has grown in
recent years due to getting new customers (sales). they're doing it the hard
way. Infor has too many products to focus R&D on only one. They're like
the shotgun ERP company, if they throw enough crap ERP solutions against the
wall, something is bound to stick with a potential customer of theirs.

I used to like Syteline...until Infor purchased them. The next step Infor
needs to accomplish is merge all of their 13 ERP offerings into one ERP
suite, like Epicor has done.

Comparing the two will yield many similarities. But what I continue to like
about Epicor are the flexibilities at the user and admin level
(customizations, personalizations, custom BAQ reports, etc). Visual
Enterprise (Infor Visual) is a little tightened down regarding scalability
of the product at the user/admin level. Much like SAP.

One of our sister companies is going through a new ERP implementation, and
I've spent a day or so going over Epicor with them. they're relatively
impressed (they're coming from Job Boss and QuickBooks), but the CFO used
Infor Visual at his previous job and would like to know if anyone here can
compare the two.

Thanks!
