Error Connecting to Application Pool

I am trying to setup new Kinetic environment but getting below error when trying to connect to the application server.
I have already tried rebuilding .net framework packages and restarting with no luck

Your Ice.Data.Model version is old - from 3.2.700 and it cannot be used from the new version 4.2.200.

I was getting that whenever the server rebooted after upgrading to 2023.1 from 10.2.700 a little while back. Was able to get around (not fix) by Stopping then Starting the application pool (NOT Recycling). You then have to restart any task agents.

Oh wow…cant believe I didnt notice it… Been waiting for EpicCares response for over a week now. All they ve suggested i do is rebuild .net

Not sure, what does rebuild .NET mean. Probably they wanted you to rebuild datamodel. This is what is usually done - you rebuild data model, it is stored in DB and then you restart the app pool and datamodel is downloaded to you server folder.

I’m sure @Olga is much more attractive than Donk though, but just as effective.

Might they have meant “repair” your .NET packages?
