We are trying to create a new company in our multi-company version of Epicor E10 (10.2.400). We have created many companies previously with no issue. However, on this attempt, we cannot get the Company to show up in the list, and the Chart of Accounts is “sent” from the main company, but it never populates in the new company. It looks like the Task Agent does not recognize the new company.
We found the culprit. The user account set to run the Task Agent had been changed. We expected it to be the Manager account, and the new company was added to that profile. However, we finally discovered that it had been changed to run under a different user account, and we had not added the new company to that profile. Once we did that, it all worked as expected.
