Error when adding a new style/ssrsreport and choosing output format csv, subreport could not be shown

Error when adding a new style/ssrsreport and choosing output format csv, Error: subreport could not be shown.

I know when I run it as an excel output format it creates and runs a different report automatically called ExcelDataOnly. If I want CSV output what do I need to make it work?
