Error when opening Epicor menus. “Culture is not supported. Parameter name: name en-150 is an invalid culture identifier”.
This happened in the new Kinetic 2021.1 for some reason. Whenever I tried to open GL control Codes or Account Segment Values, the dropdown lists would not even open and I would get the above error message… Very randomly, some days it would pop up, some other days it wouldn’t.
If you get this error, the problem is not coming from Epicor but from the Windows where your accessing Epicor. Windows has cultures (languages) defined, and if you get this error, then it is not registered, so you need to do it yourself by running some .bats from Epicor Support.
You will add the new culture with a .bat, and when the cmd successfully registers it, voilà, there will be no no more issues in Epicor. Just close it and re-open it.
