Only a handful of us use EWA much, but we’ve started to roll it out more lately. And then we noticed that on the tablets it’s working great, but on the PC (IE or Chrome) is just sits at the EWA background page, but without the Login box. If you open the page with Private/Incognito browser tab it works fine (and seemingly quicker).
I have not been through the myriad of browser settings too thoroughly, but I haven’t found the answer YET.
Incognito/In-private modes don’t store cookies, so the initial window/tab in that mode, would be similar to as if you cleared the browsers cache and other stored settings.
Just curious, is the EWA login box implemented as a new tab/window, or as a bunch HTML elements on the startup/launch page?
@Jason_Woods - Ghostery & AdBlockPlus are the only ones I use, but our ‘site’ is whitelisted in them and I’ve specifically turned them off with no change.
@ckrusen - I’ll take a look, clearing the cache may work. I’m not sure if the login box is technically a pop-up or some other form of code, but I’m pretty sure it’s not part of the base form. I’ve not looked at the code at that level yet.
Looks like the Ghostery extension needs to be disabled, not just whitelisted (which should have worked) and there is no specific setting that works… I’ve contacted their support.
