We are moving forward with evaluating AP automation solutions. One of the short list vendors is Medius. They appear to use a third-party middleware product named DataZen from Enzo Unified.
Reviewing AP automation posts here, I see a number of them for DocStar ECM/IDC (which we are reviewing) and other vendors. I see nothing on Medius. Has anyone used them for an on prem AP automation solution? If so, I would love your feedback on implementing/using/supporting it. If you considered them but did not select it, could you specify why?
Note that ECM is much more than AP automation so if your company is only looking for AP automation you’re on the right track looking at specific AP automation solutions.
If you’re looking for workflow and content management solutions AS WELL AS AP automation you’re on the right track with Epicor ECM.
Yes, we did select Medius. They did swap the integrator to LaunchPad, which made a big difference. Both Medius and LaunchPad have been good to work with. The feature set and usability of Medius, and their payment product MediusPay, were the top choice of the three finalists by our Finance team. We are actively testing and targeting a go-live the end of September.
