Wondering if the Final Operation checkbox in Job Entry is required? What does it affect other than showing users that an operation is the last one to be completed?
The final operation is very important. That is the operation that determines the completed quantity on the job.
It takes the operation’s completed qty (Whatever is entered when using Data Collection) and sets that as the Job/Assembly’s completed qty.
I think by default, Epicor uses the last operation as the final operation if nothing is set.
Yes, this is true. It’s only really necessary when your final operation is not the last one in order of OprSeq.
