You cannot update from a foreign key view

What I am trying to accomplish is on the customer maintenance I created
a
combo box and I would like to show the information in a text box in the
sales order under the line section.

What I created was a combo box in customer maintenance which has only 2
options "Distributor or OEM".

In Sales order under Line tab I created a field that I need to populate
with
the answer in customer maintenance.

I need to link the fields.
