So! it’s been a very busy month/week with us forcing staff into Kinetic forms!
a huge thanks to everyone helping with our strange questions, here’s some left over things turned into idea’s
since we never endingly have to ask people to clear client cache we discovered that Kinetic stores some of the settings in the cache! both hotkeys and some personalisations :|.. there has to be a better place right?

we’ve also lately had a load of issues where BAQ’s magically overun expected performance levels and cause loads of things to fall over, would be great if we could set limits something like “stop running if you run for more than x seconds or return more than 10k results” which would flow into execution limits anytime they are run

anyone in cloud struggling with how long it takes to find a performance issue, we’ve had around 3 times this month where the whole system slows to a crawl and it takes a huge amount of time to go in, dig out logs, then stick them in the PDT tool and try to unpack what’s causing what.. be great if there was some CMP tool that gave you a window into the last few days worth of data.. what were all the tasks running at this one time, what was the run time/IOPS load of each.. point of time side of thing

another that I’ve just submitted is giving some enhancements for predictive text, our guys use it for SOE and have said when using it for part numbers when we have 100k parts it seems to slow down the system when it’s starting to search after even the first character, so be great to say “don’t bother searching until we have 3 characters” and the ability to show the part number and then the accompanying description next to the predictive results.
