The web world appears to be coalescing around components and APIs. Web Components has been a W3C standard for ten (!) years now which has been adopted by Facebook (React), Google (Angular), and Microsoft (Blazor).
If you’re interested in the C# environment, you may want to look into Blazor. There are numerous books, blogs, and videos available. There is no longer doubt that this is Microsoft’s chosen web stack right now. FWIW, the type and number of people who don’t work at Microsoft but promote Blazor make me feel good about investing my time to learn it.
