Character01 under Detail shows blank
Character01 under Journal Detail shows the information I have entered
Under field help both fields show they are from DB Field GLJrnDtl.Character01 but one has EpiBinding of GLJrnDtl and the other has EpiBinding of GLSpecificJrn.
It must be how Epicor have used the data from GLJrnDtl table.
Any other suggestions.

Are you sure your UD# field you wrote to really what is being displayed? (Did you also poke into a record w/ sql and verify it wrote?)

Client apps and trackers often have dataviews that aren't 100pct mapped to the similarly named tables you see in the data dictionary.
Are you sure your UD# field you wrote to really what is being displayed? (Did you also poke into a record w/ sql and verify it wrote?)

Thanks Robert for the response.
In Chart Tracker under Journal Detail you have
Specific which breaks down to Detail
                                                  Cost Transaction
                                                  Journal Detail
Character01 under Detail shows blank
Character01 under Journal Detail shows the information I have entered
Under field help both fields show they are from DB Field GLJrnDtl.Character01 but one has EpiBinding of GLJrnDtl and the other has EpiBinding of GLSpecificJrn.
It must be how Epicor have used the data from GLJrnDtl table.
Any other suggestions.

Character01 under Detail shows blank
Character01 under Journal Detail shows the information I have entered
Under field help both fields show they are from DB Field GLJrnDtl.Character01 but one has EpiBinding of GLJrnDtl and the other has EpiBinding of GLSpecificJrn.
It must be how Epicor have used the data from GLJrnDtl table.
Any other suggestions.
