Yes. The global reschedules all you unlocked (schedule) jobs. MRP will only schedule any MRP suggested UnFirmed jobs (and only if you select that option when running it).

Yes, when MRP does a Finite schedule, it does not prioritize the jobs. Global Scheduling
puts the jobs MRP has on the schedule in Priority Order, minimizing lateness of jobs.
