Grid View Printing in V8

Yes, it seems that the third-party grid control (from Infragistics) does not
copy grouped items. It only copies data rows. Well, I guess you can always
copy all of your ungrouped data rows, paste them into Excel and then
group/pivot/etc. them there and then print...

Everyone,

It seems that when you group results of a dashboard, you cannot print
that "grouped" view. Both a print and a print preview dump the entire
grid of data. Support is telling me I need to creat a BAQ that
represents that "grouped" view if I want to print it. Can anyone
confirm or deny this? Seems kind of useless to be able to perform a
grouping function and not be able to print those results.

Ron,

If you copy the grouped-grid to Excel, does it keep its grouping or does the
entire grid get copied? If the group gets copied, can it be printed from Excel
as a work around?

Mark,

Unfortunately you can't perform a copy on a grouped grid. If you
try, you get an "Unhandled Exception" error! Hooray for Epicor.
