Ok, make fun all you want, but I have to get back on the wagon.
I’m trying to make a simple app from scratch using application studio. All I want is a panel grid and some buttons and labels.
No matter what I add and preview, nothing shows up. What in the world am I missing?
Ok some progress. If I add a panel to the App page, it shows up.
Why doesn’t it show up on main?
I’ve never created an “App” from scratch, just dashboards. but I think with an App, it’s like Sales Order Entry. So the “App” page is the “Landing Page”.
I would expect you could create an onload event that skips over it and goes directly to Main or Detail if you wanted?
If your on 2024.1.10 then your running into the issue I mentioned on the ‘I’m on 2024.1.10’ thread. I just recieved PRB0284164 and they recreated the issue on 2024.1.11. Any application with the Type = Apps is not allowing any edits.
Mine is working.
Interesting. I created a new app and it is updating. Have you tried updating an existing app?
Is that a “from scratch” app?
