Help me figure out app-open call log black magic

I wanted to use the app-open widget to open the same call log window that is opened if you click on the call log in the quote entry screen. So I went to the call log tool event in application studio:

I then when to my event and application studio and made it the same:

and I can see the data comes over in the debug:

But the wrong window appears, and no data is preloaded. This is the call log UI my event brings up:

but this is the UI that appears in quote entry and is what I want:

Its the same Menu ID and same inputs.. what is this insanity?? Only think I can think of is there are multiple call log things in quote entry and I found and copied the wrong thing??

@hmwillett I found this post of yours where it seems like the call logs are baked in a manner that doesn’t allow it to be customized. Does that also mean I cannot summon it on demand?

Call Log - Application Studio

My initial impression is that it’s baked into the application code, called at runtime, and populated with REST. (Yes–I’m looking at change logs and you said call logs. It’s all the same–buried in this awful JS file). [image] I’m poking my friend to see what she says, but I suspect she’ll come back with a “Sorry, you’re S.O.L.” And with that… I think it’s time to go play some Rocket League.

Call log customization application layer if we call it will not work . How to edit this customer/quotation call log. Anyone suggest on this
