Has anyone had any problems populating MTD Tax Boxes using Electronic Tax Reporting in Epicor 10.1.400.38
Specifically Tax Box 2 on our system doesn’t populate any data at all for Intercompany EU purchase invoices
I have an issue that I need to raise with support relating to MTD. My issue is that the boxes on Electronic VAT report contain different values to the VAT Tax Report - I think the Electronic report is not including any outdated items, where the VAT Tax report does!
For your issue, do you have your tax box setup correct, and if you’ve recently made changes to Tax box 2 to make it correct have you processed any transactions since? You can’t change the tax box config, and expect any prior transactions to appear - because they simply wont!

No changes to tax box settings and are set up as per MTD set up guide Set up originally by Epicor Finance Consultant (checked - Double and triple checked) even changing the Tax Box config doesn’t make any difference to the output
Difference is - Intercompany EU Transactions don’t get pulled into their expected TAX Box No. 2 the Box is empty Zero Value 0
The VAT Tax report works perfectly well
I’m assuming that the Electronic report is using the XML tags. Double check the setup on Tax Box Maintenance:

what version of Epicor are you currently using ?
Using 10.2.300.15 at present.

We’re still on 4.1.400 and recently applied Service Pack 38 with additional MTD hotfix
We identified that the Intercompany process is not populating a Tax point field when it creates IC transactions and MTD is not returning a value for these transactions
