How can you change pending approval by to the correct approver

Apparently the answer is to update the SalesRepcode on the relevant task record.

I hope this helps someone.

Cheers
Simon

Hello,
We have a situation where projects have been setup with the approval workflow set to supervisor and not project manager. We now have a whole lot of submitted time which is pending approval by the incorrect people.

I can change the workflow group on the project, but how can I change the "pending approval by" value without having to open time entry as the employee and recall and submit each time entry again?

When I look at the field help there is no value in DB field only in the EpiBinding field and that has the value of LaborDtl.PendingApprovalBy.

Any Suggestions appreciated.

I'm pretty new to Vantage, but couldn't you just run a database update on
the PendingApprovalBy column in the LaborDtl table?

That might fix your current problem, but unsure how to really go about
setting the approval workflow to project manager instead of supervisor.

Apologies. I meant to say we are on 9.05.701.

I tested just updating the labordtl table before I posted and no luck. The only way I can see recalling and submitting the time, which is something I would prefer not to do.

I'm an not sure the Labor update updateable dashboard will resolve the issue, but might be worth testing.
