How do you handle Commerce Hub order line cancellations via the EDI 856

A User Defined Field with a cancel code may be added to the order line.
HomeDepot.Com and Lowes.Com provide Cancel Code lists in Order Stream.
However, if the Commerce Hub PO is only a one-line sales order and it is being Cancelled, Not Shipped, how do you trigger an 856 being generated and transmitted?

Are you entering cancellations in the Commerce Hub portal rather than using the 856?
