Hello all ,i am trying to arrive at the same Actual landed cost as per the Landed Cost Report… on line 1.R4001.10 instead i arrive at R5079.60 please see below screenshot
Line 2 below is the same but when i calculate it on excel i am arriving at a different fi
gure
can anyone advise as to how Epicor Calculates its formula to arrive at the Actual Unit cost
I don’t know the inner workings of the financial side… what money is suppose to go where…
Your excel calculation is:
“Actual Unit Cost” = (ZAR Total Cost + Total Duty Amount + Total Indirect Cost) / Qty
But it appears that Epicor’s calculation is:
“Actual Unit Cost” = (ZAR Total Cost + Total Indirect Cost) / Qty
Epicor is not including the Duty cost in their actual unit cost.
Is this correct… can it be changed…
Since both lines have the same (USD) unit cost, the result should be very similar. I believe the slight difference (4,001.09 vs 4,001.1) is just a factor of scale/rounding.
