How to auto refresh on an embedded dashboard?

Hi Simon,

I realise this might not be what I'm looking for. So I'll ask my question in a separate post.

Thanks for taking the time to reply anyway !

Hi,
I have been attempting to get an embedded dashboard of calls into a tab on the Case Entry form. I have finally managed to get a BAQ/Dashboard to link through, however I have not been able to get the new Call dashboard refresh once you enter in a new call from the new call button on the associated Case form. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be appreiated.

I am also wanting to know how can you get the call detail form to open up the from when you double click on a row in the embedded dashboard.

Any assistance appreciated.Hall I assume I am going to have to write some custom code or use the add/edit transaction event handler on the call form, but once again I am not too sure, perhaps I have the Dashboard incorrect which is stopping it refreshing.

Kind Regards
Simon
Just giving this one a little bump. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
Thanks Jose,
I think I found the one about auto refreshing and I believe I have it working correctly now.

Still looking for an answer to being able to open up the call form if clicking on a selected record on a dashboard of calls related to a case.

I am sure it is something simple, but I am finding any documentation I have just doesn't cover some of this sort of stuff to point people in the right direction.

Cheers
Simon

I think this might have been the link

I built a dashboard to display CRM calls so I could put an embedded dash panel into the case form.

In the BAQ I had to join in the HDCase to the call table and display the case number. I then could do the Browse filtering on that field the dashboard, Finally I subscribed to the UI when I used the sheet wizard in customization mode.

I hope that points you in the right direction.

I'm doing some more testing today, but I think it is working correctly now.

I'll keep you updated.

I'm still trying to sort out the opening the call form from the dashboard, but I think I need to put a cusomization on the dashboard and not on the form that I am embeddding the dashboard to.

Once again I'll update my findings.

Cheers
