I am trying to do a DMT to set the UserChar field for 1737 records. After almost four minutes, it gets to 1736/1737 done, then crashes. I tried it again and got the same result.

When I run a BAQ on the table I find that 480 records were successfully updated.
The problem is, during the process there were a number of records not found, and I have not enabled “Add New”. I want to know which records were not found.
Writing to all logs is enabled. But if I try to click on “View” before the DMT is done, I get the error “File does not exist”. I can pause the DMT before trying to view the log, but get the same error.
Are the logs really not written until the tool is complete? Otherwise, where are the logs at?
Thanks! Nothing there though… anyway, I have opened a support request with Epicor, hopefully they will be able to resolve it. I’ll keep this thread open so I can post the resolution in case somebody else runs into this issue.
Not sure what you mean… if I right click in Windows Explorer I get a pop-up menu, but nothing mentioning locking. I am able to (temporarily, for testing purposes) rename both files which my understanding is shouldn’t be possible if a file is locked.
Also, the second file appears to be Epicor.DMT.Lib.dll, not Epicor.DMT.Lib…
