How to "track" subassemblies and specifically claim them as they

Miguel, he wants the operator to somehow enter something like a serial number or something similar when they claim completion of each individual subassembly when they end activity in Epicor.

Are you trying to see the sub in inventory? Or you have 5 operations and operation 3 is currently working in it, you want to see on the job tracker that they are working on 2 of the 5 prod run?

Not sure if Job tracker is all you need or not.  I guess what does “claim” mean.

Our ops manager is wondering if there is any way to track subassemblies as they travel through production.  He’d like for the operators to be able to “claim” a specific subassembly as they complete them so he can know where specific parts are.  Is this possible and if so, what is the best practice?
